Who are we

PK Horses is run by Iben Printzen-Kiertzner Hansen and Tue Hansen. Ibens interest for horses goes back to her childhood, where she, as many other girls, rode her own horse. The interest in horses has followed her throughout her life, and when we got the opportunity to get a country house with space for horses, that dream had to be lived out, of course.

Along with her interest in horses, Iben has an innovative and creative side that has created many fun and exciting solutions over the years.

At PK Horses, we create products with heart – with solid craftsmanship and a deep understanding of the needs of both horse and rider. All our equipment is designed and produced in Denmark and all materials are carefully selected in Europe. For us, quality and responsibility are essential values.

Our range is based on the philosophy that equipment should be practical, safe and well designed. Each product undergoes rigorous testing in daily use to ensure that it can withstand the challenges of everyday life – in the paddock, in the stable and on the trail. We develop equipment that makes everyday life easier for the rider and more natural for the horse – without compromising on quality or durability.

From idea to reality

Alle vores produkter udspringer af reelle behov. Vores første produkt, STRAW Corner, blev skabt for at tilbyde en blød og fleksibel høhæk, der understøtter hestens naturlige spiseadfærd. Inspirationen kom fra traditionelle, faste modeller – solide, men ofte pladskrævende og upraktiske i hverdagen.

Working closely with local stables, the first prototypes were tested and adjusted until we reached the perfect combination of function, safety and ease of use. The result was an accomplished design where craftsmanship, thoughtful details and carefully selected materials come together.
